According to the Texas locals, it was a rainy morning as the train moved swiftly down the tracks when the engineer spied a school bus stalled on the railway crossing. Frantically pulling his break and tugging on the train horn, the huge great engine quickly advanced toward the school bus, unable to stop in time. Ten children reportedly lost their lives that day and continue to haunt the area, protecting others from a similar horrific end. I have seen this documented, filmed live and have read and been told of eye witnesses attesting to the fact that: If you park your car directly over the tracks and shift into neutral stalling the cars engine, the ghosts of the children will push it uphill, out of the way of any oncoming train. And if you have the foresight to cover your bumper with baby powder or flour, you can clearly see the children’s finger and hand-prints in the powder, upon your car’s bumper.

Numerous accounts/photo’s and live footage have been reported and filmed they seems to prove that cars really do in fact inexplicably move on their own and mysterious prints are seen on pre powdered car bumpers .Always small child sized hand and finger prints! Others (Many psychics and non psychics alike) they have heard the voices and laughter of children while at the site. Investigation in the spot that this happens have ruled out any incline that could possible cause a car to roll on its own and also magnetic fields that could somehow be drawing the car have been ruled out also. So the cars moving and the constant reports of visitors to the area that they report to hear children’s laughter even when there is no school nearby, no children and no obvious source for the mirth. This is also often heard by those who know nothing about this strange phenomenon. Clearly, who ever it is, does not care if they are heard by a skeptic or otherwise.

The advise to tourists wanting to experience this phenomena is:

# Sprinkle talcum powder on your bumper
# Park your vehicle 20 or so feet from the tracks.
# Place your vehicle in neutral
# Remove your foot off the brake slowly
# Wait patiently, do not expect dramatic results right away as it can take a minute or two
# Feel for tugs, pushes, and small jolts on your car
# View the talcum powder for the children’s hand-prints

How like a child, not to care, be playful and to laugh and have fun not caring who is around! I think this story is wonderful and I am only glad that the children are heard to laugh and be having fun! A striking example of paranormal/psychic phenomena in my book. This phenomena is said to occur daily in San Antonio, Texas which is said to be the most haunted state in America.

There has been an enormous upsurge in the interest of paranormal and psychic phenomena of late. In recent years the number of movies with paranormal themes has risen dramatically. Ghosts are probably the most known paranormal phenomenon with the UFO and psychic category gaining on it everyday.

I think one of the most misunderstood things about the paranormal is that it may be normal to some or many of us. Perhaps it’s time we all started to believe in the paranormal, If not UFOs and aliens, then maybe we’ll discover more answers to the never-ending questions about the meaning of life and our very purpose here on this planet. by allowing ourselves to explore Disillusionment with antiquated beliefs as well as modern society; the real need to discover a personal sense of spirituality and the validation of mystical concepts by modern scientists, I believe are responsible for the increasing interest in paranormal subject matter. Not to mention all the people who are having psychic or paranormal experiences daily and are sick of writing them off as imaginary. Psychic and paranormal events are occurring in our daily lives and becoming less like a far out concept for many who have them.

In literature too, the paranormal is encroaching and gaining ground.
While the classic romances might cast the heroine as the damsel in distress, waiting to be rescued by her knight in shining armour, modern day paranormal romances (and a number of other modern day romance tales) feature stronger heroines. From there, as the feelings between the pair develop, you’ll have a paranormal romance set in a fantasy world that breaks many of the rules in traditional romance novels. With the paranormal, anything is possible, and some interesting romance novel are springing up with a psychic- paranormal theme to them.

There are many people in this world who will tell you that a belief in spiritual existence is nothing more than a way of drawing comfort in the face of certain death. Try telling that to a Medium, who is bugged daily with message from the departed!

There are many religions that try to justify the negative aspects of life on earth by using the belief in an existence beyond this world as the object of all our endeavours here on earth as well as a way of gaining control over their flock and behaviour, with fire and brimstone being handed out as a punishment for not following their rules. This has no doubt put many off the idea of even considering- there is more to this life….

On the increase in the paranormal realms is that of ghost sightings. Some feel the Ghost is the collective conscious of the people leaving an imprint in reality of a person’s past existence. Numerous sightings of the departed exist to show an overlapping theme some where between a floating entity of no description, to the clear image of a loved one who has shrugged off this mortal coil is much more than that- particularly if they deliver a message or piece of information that is current, relevant or highly personal. That’s not so easy to shrug off as an imprint is it? Experiences of such things may be varied, but a commonality often persists.

What of angels, fairies and other sightings?
Some further match UFO entities and the tales of Little People, where nature spirits or other fairy sighting show the beings to have similar skin tones or dress in many peoples descriptions. An uncanny similarity persists in reports.

I previously surmised and proposed that the common thread today of those who will not admit or be open to the idea of the paranormal is lack of time. Other cultures have more time to explore their psychic side and paranormal events. In the west we are often so busy that the body has to run at the optimum speed for functions only, which the brain needs, nothing extra, maximum oxygen, blood flow and the mundane. Many do not take time to smell the roses or explore their own psychic abilities or paranormal events as they occur around them daily. It’s much faster to put an unsettling event down to just one of those things, than explore it. So that’s often what we do.

Such busy people would carry on unaware if aliens landed on Bournemouth Beach or took over the 10 o’clock news to broadcast their co-habitation amongst us mere earthlings. No matter what happens in front of their very eyes- some people will never shake in their unfaltering belief that the paranormal is entirely made up by the crazy folk.

Commonality between various seemingly outrageous claims interests me the most in reports of paranormal or psychic events. For example have you heard of the Hollow Earthers?

“The Lands Beneath” is what the beings Robert Kirk is alleged to have encountered in Aberfoyle, Scotland, called where they live. Kirk is not the only person who has claimed to have gone where these beings live. The very nature of these beings makes proving their existence next to impossible. I have found reports going back 100 years of people claiming the same experience as Robert Kirk. All have similar accounts of their experience, it a compelling read. However few would entertain the idea openly that a race of beings within the earth could be a reality, at least not in public and sober. So generally, these reported occurrences go unexplored and no one investigates for validity, preferring the easy route of just proclaiming the person is unbalanced.

Some paranormal subjects have things in common with other paranormal subjects. and experiences and themes persist over the ages, in different parts of the globe and in very different cultures also.

Well, there must be some amount of truth in their reality to a degree- do you not think, my sceptical friends?

Hollywood filmmakers didn’t create the interest, they merely cash in on it. Spiritual growth and karmic balances are strong at this time of our being, and more and more people are facing up to accepting paranormal events or psychic episodes as a reality that is far removed from fiction.

Ball Lightning, is it a scam or made up of psychic energy? This attitude on the question of ball lightning is not a unique problem in the history of science as in this day and age a lot of phenomena is still hard to prove conclusively or disprove-despite science and a technological age of discovery and breakthroughs. The fall of meteors to earth was not so long ago considered the mere superstition of ignorant peasants. Despite repeated observation of these fiery spheres the controversy at one point caused the removal and destruction of rare meteorite specimens from museum collections worldwide on the grounds they were fraudulent objects of superstition and folklore only with no validity in fact.

A thorough analysis of the question in 1794 by Chladni,a physicist whose major work was in acoustics, contained the conclusion that such objects do not originate on the earth and that they indeed fall from the sky or come from outside of us. Chladni’s study was based on observations by reliable witnesses and data on samples of
meteorites, many of which were entirely unlike all the materials in the area where they were discovered in. His result were not widely accepted or approved of. The reality of the phenomenons existence was finally established by the appearance of thousands of stony meteorites in 1803 at L’Aigle, France. The reports of numerous reliable witnesses and a great number of actual solid specimens were cited in the authentication of the event by the physicist Biot for the French Academy of Sciences. Despite calls to ignore it.

In the negative view of the existence of ball lightning the reported observations are ascribed to mistaken identification of other luminous natural objects and to optical illusions and trickery. Meteors are often held responsible for supposed appearances of ball lightning. Several reports originally identified in the literature as ball lightning appear to have been meteors. Mistakes identifying ball lightning are possible. The flight of meteors, however, is almost invariably seen as a straight line, in contrast to the characteristic path of ball lightning which is curved and ball shaped. Ball lightning furthermore appears during storms with very few exceptions, while meteors are observed only by a rare coincidence during a storm. Ordinary lightning flash seen by an observer directly in its path may appear to be a ball. In the optical illusion which may result, the intense light from the flash persists as an optical image even when the observer changes his field of view. This it is suggested that the false image of the ball appears to follow a complex path.Others have suggested that ball lightning is entirely different from regular lightning in the fact that they believe it is formed entirely of psychic energy.

A rare and unusual phenomenon a typical description includes a spherical shape of any colour and ranging in size from a tennis ball to a football. Normally the appearance of ball lightening coincides with a thunderstorm. The phenomenon can materialise within confined spaces and buildings and their duration can be anywhere from seconds to minutes. It is common for the spheres of ball lightning to appear as if the have a ’sense’ of direction or ‘purposeful’ motion rather than simply drifting around. The spheres have been seen to bounce at will and even follow individuals ot objects such as cars as they move or are in motion. People are rarely reported as being injured or affected by ball lightning although sometimes great damage is caused to surrounding inanimate objects. Normally the phenomenon vanishes silently or disappears with a loud bang. Many sightings of Ball Lightning have been reported at certain well known energy hot spots such as Stonehenge, Aires Rock, and even in buildings thought by many to be haunted.

An American scientist called Corum and his team have managed like the Japanese with some success to produce small plasma balls of lightening in a laboratory. This was achieved by a process of manipulating high voltage radio frequency. Ball lightning has been photographed, filmed, witnessed and semi recreated in lab conditions
and whilst many have their theories as to what Ball Lightening actually is…no one so far has been able to confirm exactly what it is.

Many people chose to believe that out personalities may live on after death and reside in a different sphere of being. Many more are starting to be convinced that these spirits or personalities can be contacted with a simple tape recorder!

EVP-(electronic voice phenomena) is believed by many, the process of capturing messages from the spirit world (or realm of existence), including our loved ones who have passed, by using an ordinary magnetic tape recorder. Some believe these are the voices of earth bound spirits or spirits that have never been chosen to incarnate or
inhabit a physical body at all, many others believe it is merely a coincidence or background noise of various other devices such as radio, CB Radio or mobile phone waves-however it’s a particularly hard phenomena to ignore when recording are produced in rural areas, and the voices are actually heard to be chatting to the onlookers by name
and to consider this phenomena has been reported to have occurred way back in the 1800?s on phonographs!

EVP is a way of documenting spirits in an area or space by capturing voices and/or sounds on some type of voice recorder. The older magnetic tape recorders are preferred by many for this task. There are a couple of different methods employed for capturing EVP. One way is to record specifically in an area thought to be haunted. The other is to leave a tape running in a quiet room for 20 minutes while you leave the room. Yet many prefer to stay in the area, and ask questions out loud, to thin air ( maybe its not) and are delighted to report that these voices captured on tape, will answer their questions readily.

I have heard some very interesting recordings, where it seems proven that these discarnate voice, will answer questions, and even say the name of the people present at the recordings. For more Information see Ghost Voices
